Description
The name of the new tourbillon, “OSEM”, has its roots in Tsarist Russia and simply means “eight”. This number plays an important role not only linguistically but also visually, as it stands at the center of attention of the new model. The display of the number eight is made possible by two specially crafted guilloche circles, which give the watch a unique aesthetic dimension.
The watch itself represents a traditional classic design in keeping with the Poljot International style. Every detail is meticulously crafted, highlighting the craftsmanship and attention to detail that is expressed in this model. From the profound meaning of the number eight to the classic elegance of the skeletonized dial design, this watch represents a successful fusion of tradition and aesthetics. The blued hands with luminescent paint stand out from the dial and ensure excellent readability.
The skeletonized and engraved manual-winding movement features a day/night indicator at 3 o’clock and a 24-hour display that can be set as a second time zone. With a power reserve of 40 hours and a limited edition of 100 pieces, this tourbillon presents itself as an almost magical masterpiece.
