Description

Finding the right rhythm, achieving a balance between two cultures and two crafts – that required patience and vision. In December 2021, Louis Erard and GoS Watches were brought together by Manuel Emch , architect of the strategic revival and creative transformation of the Louis Erard brand. In Patrik Sjögren , watchmaker and founder of the Swedish workshop GoS , he found a kindred spirit.

Together, they imagined a watch that would combine the essence of both maisons: the technical precision and aesthetic refinement of the Swiss Jura with the art of the Swedish forge, where Damascus steel masters create fascinating patterns and contrasts in an almost alchemical process.

After three years of dedicated development, the result is exceptional – a series of 178 Louis Erard Regulator X GoS models , each of which carries the uncompromising spirit of the North.

A tribute to the art of Damascus steel

The dial is forged by Conny Persson and meticulously hand-finished by Patrik Sjögren . It then undergoes a proprietary bath process that enhances contrasts – lightening gray tones and deepening blacks, creating impressive visual depth.

Although the overall geometry remains consistent, inspired by the intricate tree veins typical of both Swedish and Swiss forests, no two dials are the same . Each pattern is shaped by the unpredictable nature of the forging process.

Above this unique surface , three distinctive blue hands, arranged in a classic Régulateur configuration, float. The design bears the unmistakable GoS signature – from the triskelion-inspired small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock to the sharply cut hour and minute scales, typical of the brand’s design language.

The watch is complemented by a salmon leather strap , also inspired by nature – this is the first such material used by the Louis Erard brand .
