Description
Formex Swiss Made Watches, founded in 1999, is an independent, family-owned watch manufacturer based in Biel/Bienne – a city considered the cradle of Swiss watchmaking. Building on a tradition of producing high-end timepieces, Formex develops and produces models that meet the highest quality standards in the industry, complemented by unique technical solutions for enhanced functionality and comfort.
Thanks to an innovative distribution model, Formex offers accessible entry into the world of luxury watchmaking for all who appreciate precise craftsmanship and exceptional artistry.

Essence FortyOne
The best-selling Formex Essence model comes in an ideal 41mm steel case – precisely balanced between 39 and 43 mm. It retains the characteristic patented Case Suspension System and adds a new screw-down crown, designed for even greater security and comfort in combination with the suspended case.
Four typical dials – Blue, Gamaret, Dégradé, and White – stand out with precise craftsmanship from a family manufacture in the Swiss Jura region. A new generation of patented butterfly clasp allows for quick micro-adjustment (0 / 3 / 6 mm) without the need to open the bracelet, so the watch fits perfectly throughout the day.
Vertical brushing and diamond-polished edges extend throughout the entire design – from the bezel and case to the bracelet, indices, and hands – for a unified and characteristic Formex look.
Swiss Made. COSC certified. Created for everyday wear.

COSC-certified chronometer movement
When it comes to timekeeping accuracy, the COSC Chronometer certification is the gold standard. The Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC) is the official Swiss chronometer testing institute, which, as an independent body, certifies the accuracy and reliability of Swiss Made watches. The "Chronometer" designation can only be obtained for movements of the highest quality that successfully pass a rigorous 15-day series of tests. This means that the given caliber meets the highest standards of mechanical reliability and accuracy.
Formex watches are powered by COSC Chronometer certified movements, ensuring the highest level of precision and performance in Swiss watchmaking. Only approximately 6% of all watches produced in Switzerland receive this prestigious designation, making them among the most accurate and reliable mechanical timepieces in the world.
