Two disks, one rhythm
What appears on the dial as two simple indications is in fact a precisely layered mechanism. Two independent discs – one showing the days of the week, the other the dates from 1 to 31 – are driven by an interconnected gear train, which ensures their precise operation. Every midnight, both indications change instantly and in perfect synchronisation with the rhythm of the movement, which measures every second of the day.
