HI-TECH Dial
Inspired by the MiG-29 instrument panel, with multi-functionality and various adjustments, the dial allows you to keep track of three levels of information: an aviation slide rule on a rotating reflector, time and stopwatch with three chronograph eyes, and a central stop seconds. Its clean indexes and bold hands offer easy readability, while the slide rule lines and chronograph circles add a high-tech feel. Since each AVIATOR dial is the result of very precise engineering and manufacturing skills, you get quality at the highest level that is unparalleled.
Aviation ruler
Whether you need to calculate estimated fuel consumption, estimated time of arrival or travel time, the left crown on the aeronautical slide rule will guide you to the answer. Based on the E6B flight computer used by flight schools for training purposes, the slide rule contains hundreds of angles and various logarithmic relationships. The outer E6B scale is engraved on the bezel of the case with an inversion from 6.0 to 1.0 to highlight the largest calculation steps, while the inner scale is located on the rotating reflector of the dial.
Style always on the radar
Inspired by aircraft radar systems, the AVIATOR MIG-29 SMT watch features a screw-down case back. It is engraved with an image of the MiG-29 aircraft and the usual three circles found on radars, serving as an indication of technical and functional details. Slightly rounded on both sides, the case back is designed with a deliberate airstream camouflage pattern that extends to the back of the rubber strap for improved comfort and protection against sweat. As with all AVIATOR watches, these precise details, along with fine watchmaking techniques, are what help bring the aviation heritage of the famous fighter aircraft to life.
