Description
This time, Alexander Shorokhov focused more on the magnificent, historic center of St. Petersburg, which has been registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991.
The city boasts 2,300 palaces, grand buildings and chateaux. Alexander Shorokhov is particularly fond of the Amber Room, a stately room whose walls are covered in amber, gold and mirror elements. Empress Elizabeth had it built in 1741 in the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg and finally in 1755 in the Catherine Palace in Tsarskoye Selo (Tsar's Garden).
Amber is a yellow gemstone that can be translucent to opaque, made from a fossil resin that has been known and used for thousands of years. But amber can do much more: it is also known to have a special energy. It is protective, cheerful, warm and positive. It can even help ward off negative feelings.
Wearing the new warm variant of the NEVA series will remind you of all these positive emotions and aspects of life. The warm light yellow and brownish color is reminiscent of the Amber Room, it is very pompous and powerful, but at the same time it looks very natural and simple. Everything is harmoniously matched. The wavy guilloche of the dial and the small curved second hand, which is shaped like the letter "N", refer to the name of the watch and the magnificence of the city, as in previous models.
In this case, the stainless steel case, silver hands and large silver "60" create a nice contrast to the warm color scheme. It is completed by a dark brown calfskin strap with light decorative stitching.
