Alexander Shorokhoff Kandy Classic AS.KD02-40S watch

In addition to the unusual “Kandy” watch with guilloche dials, watchmaker Alexander Shorokhoff has created two elegant models of this line in a classic style. In fact, it is contradictory to interpret a watch with a square case as a classic and timeless beauty. This is the idea behind the model and many other watches from the “Avantgarde” collection by “Alexander Shorokhoff”: to interpret things in a new way, to create controversially and to provoke.

With this, Alexander Shorokhov once again proves that he can combine the contrasts of classical and modern art into one harmonious whole. He remains true to his principles when it comes to the design of all watches from the “Avantgarde” collection. As usual, the dials are decorated with large numbers 20, 40 and 60. The surface of the simple silver or black “faces” of the watches is first circularly machined and only then covered with varnish. The result is a very bright, radiant impression.

The case is also extraordinary. It is first produced without any handles – these are later welded to the back. This way, it is possible to inlay the grooves on the edge of the case with silver or gold wires, or – at the customer’s request – with colored varnish.

The back also stands out with its unique look. There are four small round lenses in three different avant-garde colors - red, yellow and blue.
