Description
With the “Emotio Due”, Alexander Shorokhoff presents an automatic watch that at first glance appears inconspicuous, but offers a number of interesting functions. The new model combines technical advantages with modern design, resulting in an impressive contrast: a modern dial in a classic stainless steel case with interesting functions.
The design of the “Emotio Due” dial offers a number of striking details. The embossed avant-garde pattern remains in the background, but is still noticeable and gives the dial an extraordinary aesthetic dimension. At its center is a wave-like pattern that emphasizes the most important design elements: the striking number 60, unconventionally placed at the 9 o’clock position, the decentralized second hand and the company name. A closer look at the second hand reveals that its zero position is not at the usual 12 o’clock, but is shifted by approximately 15 seconds to the left.
Two mother-of-pearl subdials are the hallmark of this watch. The upper one, made of light mother-of-pearl, displays the date, while the lower one shows the power reserve in different shades of mother-of-pearl. Despite the striking colors, the dark yellow hands with a black decorative stripe blend harmoniously into the overall look. The hour markers are made as high-quality, gold-plated elements that naturally fit into the overall design.
At first glance, this watch may seem inconspicuous, but upon closer examination, it reveals a multitude of emotionally appealing details, crafted with great precision and creativity, that arouse exceptional fascination in the observer.
The “Emotio Due” case is a completely new development. At 42 mm in diameter, it is surprisingly flat for a hand-engraved automatic movement with the STP12-1 caliber. The rounded case sides and pushers give the watch an elegant and modern aesthetic.
