Description
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary in 2017, Alexander Shorokhov created exceptional watch models that correspond to the brand’s philosophy – “art on the wrist”. The “Avantgarde” line is expanded with a new watch model “Crossing”. Alexander Shorokhov not only brings new features to the watch design, but also complements his creations with a new watch movement – a “jumping watch” from Dubois Dépraz.
The large numbers 20 and 40 are well-known hallmarks of the brand, as are the hands and the clear layout of the dial, but the watch is given a new look. The dial of this exceptional watch is divided into two functional sectors. The upper part shows the minutes and the lower part shows the seconds. The hour hand jumps in a window at the 12 o'clock position. The fine lines in the minute area cross in pairs, giving this model an avant-garde look and its name "Crossing".
The mechanism is very complex and consists of a number of filigree elements that allow the watch to jump every full hour. Therefore, the production relies on 100 years of experience of Dubois Depraz. The rotor is hand-engraved, additionally gold-plated and can be admired through the sapphire crystal on the back of the case.
Overall, this is an excellent watch that combines not only functionality and elegance, but also an exceptional shape with attractive colors. Simply "art on the wrist"!
