FROM FANTASY TO ART
"Alexander Shorokhoff" pays homage to Gustav Klimt.
The "Crazy Eyes" watch continues the avant-garde line of the "Alexander Shorokhoff" brand, setting new standards in artistic design and color concepts. Alexander Shorokhoff's imagination, inspired by the artistic and unique works of Gustav Klimt, has materialized in this new chronograph.
The main element of the dial are the “eyes” of different sizes, each created in a different color. They are slightly raised above the surface of the dial, giving the avant-garde scene a three-dimensional appearance. The other elements of the dial, with their unique shapes and colors, harmoniously complement the overall composition of this work of art, the composition of which was initially a challenge. The dial is made up of multiple layers, numerous applications and different materials such as mother-of-pearl, brass and a colorful palette of colors.
The number “60” remains in its traditional place, as it does on all “Alexander Shorokhoff” watches, symbolizing the 60 minutes in an hour and the revolutionary artistic era of the 1960s. A matching strap has been created to match the avant-garde and eccentric “face” of the new chronograph: a dark blue crocodile leather strap with orange and yellow stitching.
The case of the “Crazy Eyes” model features a completely new design. At 42 mm in diameter and just 12.40 mm high, these are remarkably slim parameters for a hand-engraved chronograph with the 2030.DD caliber. The rounded side design of the case and the pushers give the watch an elegant and modern look. The front glass has also been redesigned. In contrast to the traditional domed sapphire crystals, this model is equipped with a cylindrical crystal, which provides an interesting contrast to the flat appearance of the case.
