Description
Black cats are a popular choice in art due to their symbolism and aesthetics. Alexander Shorokhoff has also explored this theme, and for the first time, the cat appears as a motif in his collection.
It is made of black mother-of-pearl, partially hidden on the dial, but its presence is unmistakable. This small work of art is simply enchanting! To give this “painting” a sense of “naturalness” and “movement”, the entire dial is made of high-quality mother-of-pearl and decorated with the original signature of Alexander Shorokhoff, which adds a personal touch to this exceptional work of art. Alexander Shorokhoff’s distinctive number “60” is in its usual position. Blue hands ensuring good legibility are also present in this model.
The entire artwork is presented in a rectangular stainless steel case measuring 36 x 36 millimeters, similar to a framed masterpiece.
The watch is powered by either a hand-engraved and refined automatic movement or a manual winding caliber. Both versions are limited to 19 pieces. The uniqueness and extraordinary creativity of this model will undoubtedly increase the value of this watch and it should be considered an investment. Who knows, this 'wrist masterpiece' will one day reach prices as high as Picasso's works today.
