The owner and head chef of the Origin restaurant in Lučenec , a man who proves that world-class gastronomy can be created even outside of big cities. His cuisine is not about effect. It's about details. About technique. About ingredients. About ideas.

Back home from Switzerland

Lukáš was born in Lučenec, but spent more than 12 years in Switzerland , where he devoted himself fully to gastronomy. During this time, he worked under the guidance of several chefs, including those who were awarded Michelin stars .

It was his foreign experiences that shaped his professional approach:

  • consistent discipline in the kitchen

  • respect for the raw material

  • precise work organization

  • emphasis on technique and detail

Instead of staying abroad, he decided to return home. Together with his wife Dominika, they opened the ORIGIN restaurant in 2023 – a concept that builds on locality, seasonality, and a modern interpretation of Slovak cuisine.


ORIGIN – discovery of Slovak gastronomy

Since its opening, ORIGIN has built a strong reputation. The restaurant is now considered one of the most exciting gastronomic projects outside of major cities.

When Lukáš came to us in Banská Bystrica at Kukučínova 18, he didn't come "just to choose a watch".

He came to know the story.

We went through all the brands we represent at Chronoforte together – from bold, avant-garde pieces to technically oriented models. We discussed the movements, the brand philosophy, what is hidden behind the dial.

And it was clear that Lukáš does not make decisions impulsively.
Just like when creating a menu – he was interested in the origin, the construction, the idea.
