Description

The painter's brush hovers over the dark brown mother-of-pearl, immersing the viewer in the unusual, fairy-tale rendition of the dial of the Fairytale model. It tells the beautiful story of the firebird. The magically glowing bird lives in a distant land and brings both blessings and misfortune to its keeper, becoming the subject of difficult tasks. The firebird's rich plumage has many shades and glows in red, orange and yellow like embers of fire.

The watch case is made of 14-carat rose gold. Inside is a mechanical movement with automatic winding 2824 AS with a hand-engraved rotor. The movement is set with 25 rubies and has a power reserve of 49 hours . Its movement can be observed thanks to the transparent sapphire crystal of the dial. Everything is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment .

Miniature painting requires exceptionally sharp eyesight and skillful hands. An average painter spends 40 hours of careful observation through a magnifying glass to create one miniature. First, the artist selects the necessary palette of colors and prepares the paints. A special brush made of marten fur is used for this type of painting. 10 to 20 such brushes are needed to complete one painting. First, the base color is applied evenly so that the beads do not shine so much. Then other colors are mixed in to achieve the necessary gradation and subtle color shades. Several very thin layers are applied so that the final thickness does not reach five hundredths of a millimeter. The small work of art must be placed in the oven several times to dry each layer of paint. At a temperature of 100 ° C, the paint dries for 30 to 60 minutes. The finished work is then heat-treated in the oven for 5 hours. Then, a thin layer of paint is applied to the entire surface of the dial and placed in an oven for 24 hours to dry .
